What is Prime Timers World Wide? |

Prime Timers WW was founded in 1978 by a retired professor, Woody Baldwin. He felt a gap existed in today’s society, which caters almost exclusively to youth. Woody began the Boston Chapter.
Now this group has grown to over 100 chapters through North America, Europe, Mexico and Australia.
Prime Timers World Wide has membership through local chapters such as Prime Timers Central Virginia or if no chapter is available in your community there are individual memberships available. Every two years PTWW holds a convention, in 2007, the convention was held in Reno, NV. In 2009, the convention will be in Toronto, Canada.
