Prime Timers are older gay or bisexual men and younger adult men who admire mature men. Our members are men who choose to have their social lives enriched by the diverse activities in which our members engage. No single definition can describe Prime Timers as they come from all walks of life. Prime Timers involve themselves in their community with volunteerism, politics, gay issues, arts, entertainment and every other facet of healthy living. Prime Timers are fathers and care givers, businessmen and entrepreneurs, workers and retired. Some are always on the go and some enjoy the quiet company of others at home. Yet one thing is true of all Prime Timers: they enjoy the opportunities and friendships that develop with other Prime Timers throughout the world.
We have no political agenda. We do have a social agenda, to further the good and welfare of our members. We are primarily a social club that seeks to provide a means for our members to have a fuller life. We survey our members and from their responses, create a series of special interests groups (sigs), which our members organize. Such sigs are: the Prime Timers' Bridge Group, the Walking Group, the Book Discussion Group, the Day Trippers, Fine Dining Group and Wednesday Lunch Group. We have attended the local theater, gone to movies and museums, had pot luck dinners and picnics. Other possible shared Interests Groups are Antiques, Gardening, Cooking, Sports Fan, Investment, and Discussion Groups. These groups form and evolve solely by the interest of our members.
